Im trying to go LED on the Cheap if that's possibal... So my question is can I place a Panorama Pro 12k with a 36w power compact atinic and have it still look ok untill a get enough money to get a seccond Panorama Pro?

Also this is for a 29-BC... would 2 Panorama pro's be enough light? Then possibally some stunner strips? let me know thanks....

what are you trying to grow?
If softies and LPS are what you want, then 2 should be fine. If you want to do sps, then 3 and maybe 4 strips would be better. the nice thing about the panorama pro lights is that you can upgrade whenever you want by simply adding on a new strip.

Im mainly doing LPS and softies but would like the option of doing SPS at some point. My main concern is what my tank will looklike with one Panorama Pro and one atinic power compact running in my tank.

Have you thought of building your own? There are some Chinese LEDs out there that are good and inexpensive like LEDFEDY. I built a unit two years ago and it's great!

Yeah I have thought about it but even doing that what is the cost... I don't have the equipment to start a build on a light. So while the LED's may be inexpensive what is the cost with everything else to do that kind of project? Not trying to be pessimistic but it does sound that way.... Sorry :)

To give you an idea I spent about $350 for the LEDs for 120 gallon mixed reef tank. What is the surface dimensions of your tank? Does it have a lid? I would think that you can easily get by for around $125 and have all the power you need to grow anything in the tank. Plus you can independently control/dim the whites and blues. Even add a automation module to it down the road.

That would be awesome and about the same price of one Panorama Pro. with ballast... do you have a blue print of what you did, and a web site where you ordered your led's? any help would be great. thanks
