LED question

LEDs are rediculous expensive. Pure profit for those that sell them. Accept for Christmas lights. I can get a string of 150 LED lights for like $5.

So the question of course is are the xmas lights acceptable for DIY aquarium lights?

Try lighting your aquarium with them and let us know how it comes out. In Columbus,Ohio you can't even get a string of regular Christmas lights for 5.00. Sounds like you are mad you can't sit in on a Wall Street anger protest. And most have Ipads and smart phones with Data plans and then complain about paying their student loans. If a company can't make a profit they close. Go to work and do it for free, that way whom you work for can sell their product for less

I am sorry to say this, but your post would be slightly better if you used correct grammar.

Ridiculous not rediculous and EXCEPT, not accept. You accept money. You accept hugs and free corals. Everything you said is a lie EXCEPT christmas lights being cheaper than LEDs powerful enough to grow coral!

Nothing more than a rant from an uneducated individual. The thread can be closed now.

All the Christmas lights I have ever owned use incandescent lights. I would love to see a string of 150 LED lights for $5, please post a link to these?
