LED Suppliment

Im looking for some input on my lighting set-up.
I have recently had a bit of a lighting change around and here is what im left with..

1 x 400w Mh with 20k radium

1 x GHL Simu (hang on moonlight running through Profilux 2, mainly for storms).

I have sold my T5 actinics as i physically cannot fit them over my tank, so what im looking for is something to take their place.

I want some kind of LED setup that i can attach to the side of the tank (that is open top/ semi rimless) and hang over, like the simu but as bright as T5 actinics, to have this lighting dimmable through the Profilux would be a bonus.

I dont want to do away with the 400w so this suppliment will be purely for ornimental viewing and must be fairly compact. I want a Blue effect.

Thanks for your help guys and girls!

Not sure what is available down under for you, but any make of LED strip light that has a 1-10V input can be controlled by the GHL, Maybe look at the TMC aquabeam?

Okay i just bought 2 aquabeam 600's, can you please tell me exactly what cables i need to connect these to the profilux? I s there a cable that will connect both lights? (they are seperate units, not the twin unit) I was told that these can be dimmed and will also be abled to be used as a storm light, is this true?

On a seperate note, im looking to connect my ro unit directly to the sump for top-offs. What would be the best and safest way to achieve this with the profilux?

part numbers with both of these would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Mark.

you will need 1 x LED control-1 per beam

for direct RO top off and this is how mine runs, use water solenoid and optical sensor, your retialer will have the part numbers for the optical sensor and associated attachment parts. GHL do not make a water solenoid this is third party sourced.
