leemar or visio glass?

hi guys,

whats your opinions on lemar glass tanks or visio glass tanks?
i have always heard lemar is better but why?
explain the benefits please

Glass appears to be the same. Lee-Mar has diamond cut edges, Euro bracing, 1 piece overflow box, no molding and has foam supporting the bottom. Where the Visio has none of the above but the price.

I have both. My 270 and 150 gallon tanks are both diamond edge/flat polish, eurobraced LeeMars. My 100 gallon tank is a custom sized/drilled Visio. The Visio was a bit cheaper (porportionally compared to the LeeMars), but isn't quite the quality of my LeeMars. The silicone job is nicer/neater and the overflows a bit more beefy/sturdy (as Loc01 mentioned, one piece on the LeeMars).

I have had my 270 LeeMar for a few years now and don't have any complaints. I would go with a LeeMar if you can afford it. If you are on a tight budget, the Visio is fine. Overall though, if I were planning a larger tank, i.e >100-150 gallons, or if I was planning on keeping the tank for many years I would pay the extra $ for a LeeMar.

I have a leemar diamond edge n the quality is really good it was more expensive than others but it's worth every penny

i have a lee mar flat polished euro style 180G glass tank with black backing and center overflow and diamond edges all for $1200 which IMO wasnt that bad at all!!!

i love how clean and well built the tank was made from the cuts to the silicone its all first grade!

I know that Visio also has Euro bracing, Diamond Edge, and a one piece overflow. You just have to ask them for it.

i got mine from visio. they can do diamond edge and startphire and eurobrace.love my tank, cant see why I'd want to spend more money on anything else. Afterall, it's what goes INSIDE the tank that you'll be looking at once it is full

check out reef tank supply, they have some good deals on visio tanks.
