Leemar Peninsula 280 Gallons Build Out Door Sump

So I bought one of the last custom tank built by Leemar. It is three sided starphire peninsula tank.

The tank will be inside the living room and sump(300 gallon pond) will be outside the house. I know, I KNOW, people will warn me about temperature control but I want to try.

Ordered the stand and canopy unstained so that I can stain it

Sweet tank. I can't wait to see how the sump/greenhouse turn out. I'd love to do something like that if I had the room. So many cool things you can do with that such as a frag grow out.

What's the hole in the center of the tank for? Is that for a return or secondary drain or something?

Ok the hole in the center will be connected to sump but will be closed shut. Once in six months I will open it up and drain some water from the bottom to sump so that some bottom settlements could be removed if necessary.

the dimensions are exactly same as the neptune aquatics display tank. It is 60" long and 36" wide and 30" high. Not sure about the height, it may be 32 high. Will re-measure it tonight. But 100% sure about the length and width
