Soooo... I was fragging 2 of my zoas, and I left the new frags out of water for about 45 mins . They were dry when I realized they were still out, but I put them back in the tank just in case. Has anyone had success when accidently leaving frags out? It's only been a day so far, but I'm getting my hopes up. They were Rastas and Wolverine zoas, so it would be nice to not have them die haha.

They may be fine.. You would be surprised on how resilient the coral we covet is in reality.. Being that it was zoas your chances are even better.. I'd just watch them and leave them alone.

They'll most likely be fine. I've seen acros out of the water at low tide in Australia for easily that long. They slime up.

I left some out for 6 hours once and they were ok, acros and zoanthids are surprisingly resilient sometimes.

I've left mine out for almost an hour several times because I do large water changes. It didn't seem to phase them one bit.

mine ended up and slowly just died. They just melted away. I only left 2 fresh cut frags out when I posted this, but neither survived. Thanks though. I'm thinking that since they are just cut, that's why they didn't make it.
