I have a false Percula clown that i have just added.
i also have a lemon peel angel. I wanted to know whether i can add an anemone to my tank!! Will the angel eat or cause any harm to the anemone??? please help!!! the size of the angel is approx is 1.2 inches and the clown is not more than an inch!!

I think you are safe to put an anemone in your tank with the Lemon Peel Angelfish. I have one with my pair of Cinnamon Clownfish and a mix of soft, LPS, and few different types of polyps in a 55gal. and the Lemon Peel Angelfish left them alone. The only thing he did chew on was my pink zoas  , but other than that a model citizen. So I seriously doubt he would pick to eat such a noxious, creature such as an anemone to eat. That's just my experience. I hope this helps, and good luck with your anemone if you decide to get it. BTW welcome to reefcentral.

hi

I am new to the hobby so i dont know which one would be the best, though i have heard that sadel back anemone eat dwarf angels so which anemone would be best for me??

Hmmm. Well I would start off with a Bubble Tip Sea Anemone (if there such a thing as a beginning anemone?). Some False percula have been known to host in a BTA, and I believe BTA are less likely to eat any fish. But just to let you know any anemone can eat or harm your Lemon Peel Angel. But I've also notice most fish instincts let them know what is safe and what is not. So in other words there is always a small risk of a fish being eating regardless what anemone you decide to get. Just make sure your Lemon Peel Angelfish is healthy and in a nice size aquarium and you should be fine. By the way what size is your aquarium?
