hey all, i just bought a Leopard Rabbitfish from my LFS last saturday, and he is one of the coolest fish in my tank. he's about 5 or so inches long, and he's already eating everything i put in the tank. Anyone out there who has one, post your pics and experiences!!!!

here's mine:

If he anything like striped rabbit fish (doliatus) you love him. Out all of the time, and heat everything. Just a couple of notes. These guys are eating and pooping machines. Mine eats anything I put i the tank. Watch out for the spines while cleaning, they are poisonous. Mine is good at first, but gets more curious the longer my hands are the tank and comes begging for food. You might want to check, but I think your species get fairly large. Very nice fish by way. ;)

Lobster: thanks for the compliment on the fish. Yea I was hesitant to buy him at first because of the spine showing (which seemed to me like it was underfed) but I asked the employee to feed him and he destroyed the entire brine shrimp cube she put
in.
Fisher-thanks also. I had read about rabbittfishes' venomous spines. I have a longspine urchin in my tank, and figure getting stung by the RF is like the urchin.

I have an orange spot....

He eats all food, algae the tangs won't and also nips the occaisional coral when he's underfed.

He also ate 2 nice zoa colonies.

thats a cool picture of the orangespot. i was actually gonna get an orange spot at the LFS, (cause i had seen it the past week), but when i got there it look really sickly. it stinks it ate your zoas though. i think its worth giving up a few corals to keep these fish though.
