Leopard Wrasse Missing

Hey guys, I recently added a leopard wrasse to my 90 gallon reef. Currently there is a yellow tang, melanurus wrasse, as well as leopard. She came out a day after i added her, and ever since I cannot find her, the sand does look a little better but that could be either the melanurus or her. I know never to look for a wrasse in the sandbed. Im worried right now, as this is my dream fish. I am getting my brine shrimp hatchery setup on wednesday so i can get her live brine, there are a lot of pods in my reef which if she is alive she can eat. Any suggestions, do you think food will bring her out?
Thanks

It's not uncommon for leopard wrasses to stay under the sand for a few weeks after introduction or to be on a different time than you. Maybe it comes out at night?

Yea I've heard of them staying in the sand bed for up to a few weeks. I have one that stays on the sand for days. Then occasionally I'll walk by my tank and see her swimming around the gone for another few days.

One of my Blue Star Leopards buried itself in the sand for over 3 weeks before it finally decided to join the party. The pair are two of my favorite fish - always out and about, and absolutely stunning to look at IMO. As an added bonus, they have destroyed the flatworm population in my tank the 2 rounds of FWE couldn't touch.
