I'm not having the same luck with number 2 as I have with my first. My first Leopard (Bipartitus) is 4 months old, and is doing great! She dove in the sand the first day, came out in day 2, and started eating live brine. Eating frozen now.
My 2nd (Meleagris) came in 5 days ago.
Day 1 (evening), didn't dive in sand, just hung out. didn't eat.
Day 2 (yesterday) came out in morning, didn't eat, then I found it slid against some live rock like a royal gramma would. spent most of the day there. went into sand bed.
Day 3 never came out
Day 4 never came out
Day 5 (today) never came out from sand
I have 2 sizes of live brine ready now.
cyclopeeze, mussels, tubifex worms, frozen brine, pellets, .........
But, I can't feed it, if if doesn't come out. The order came in late (your fault), but that shouldn't have mattered, IMO.
