Do not move a small tank, no matter how small, not even a millimeter, without detaching plumbing first.

I drilled a 14 gal refugium, plumbed it, loaded it with sand, rock, and macro. Turned pumps on. Worked great! Replaced the soft plastic tubing with PVC. Ran it for a few days, patted myself on the back for a job well done. Decided to improve it. Needed to move it just a hair to get to the back. Grabbed it carefully at the base, and moved it just a hair. Heard the tiniest cracking sound. Tiny rivulet from a crack at the bulkhead. Smacked forehead, pulled hair, stomped feet. Suctioned drain area, removed plumbing, removed bulkhead, smeared gobs of silicone, replaced plumbing, wait 24 hours, refill drain area. Rivulet from crack fixed. Small river from busted corner seam noted. Small puddle at carpet noted. Jam some towels in area, emergency drain, grab wet'dry vac, kick self in butt. :sad1:

Thanks for listening to my rant. What's that old saying? If it doesn't kill you, it can only make you stronger :).

You're not the first - I did the same darn thing on a 29 Gal! Should have seen the look on the wifey's face when I'm dragging the shop vac to the bedroom....
