Here's my 2.5 month old 40B

I have a 40g breeder with a 20g sump. Two mp10s, reef octopus 160xs skimmer, and two AI Sol super blues. Tank was setup in September and is doing great.

It was a 4 bulb fixture with 2 Ati blue+, 1 Ati aqua blue special, and 1 actinic. I also had 2 Ecoxotic panorama blue led strips mounted in the middle of the fixture. I got great growth and color out of this combo.

Thanks MR Harvard ,Milfordguy I`m running Chinese LEDs and have great growth on monti plates ,chalices ,birds nest , palys ect.... but acros will not grow I think after talking with a few good people I might go the t5 route

Still in the building process but here is my 40 breeder frag tank with 30 breeder sump, 10g fuge (top left), 2x 10g RODI reservoirs (top right) and a 29g hospital tank (separate system). Big thanks to Petco for their dollar/gallon sale.

No t5s just one full spec d120. not happy with it but i am waiting on a new mother board for my AI nanos then the d120 will come off and I will go back with my AIs. And I agree the china d120s dont grow my SPS near as good as my AIs do. Then again I have 2 old d120s just blue and white none dimmable over my 90 and it seems they will grow anything.

Sweet tank. I have a 40 breeder mainly SPS frags. Can't wait for corals to grow out, I will be in some trouble with space!! Lol
