Amazing what happens when you put 6 400 watt bulbs in luminarc minis over the tank

Looks like a new tank, cleaned the bulbs, cleaned the reflectors. Moved the lights up about 8" also. So much better coverage now in the corners.

Tried to take a pic but the light doesnt show up

outer 4 fixtures are 12k coralvue middle 2 are 14k something that came with the fixtures. Going to go to all 12k when I replace in a few months

what did you change?

did you add more bulbs or change reflectors?

or did you just clean and lift your previous equipment?

added another set of luminarc minis and 800 watts of lights for a total of 2400 watts into the tank plus 4 super acentic bulbs

Yes Im a stalker. LOL
I was just flipping through and saw your post. You changed your avater. You have an awesome tank BTW. Ill send you a couple pics of my 180 when I get my ballast this week. I ordered new lights & only got box 1 of 2. So I only got the t5 actinics running now. Im assuming you found the screws to attach the sockets to the reflectors. If you ever ship frags send me a pm im always looking for new corals.

Look good, what did you use to clean the Lumenarcs?

I was scared to use anything except a wet soft cloth, then a dry soft cloth.

Cleaned up real well. Bulbs too. Amazing how much salt can build up on the bulbs. Cleaning them are now on my quarterly check list.
