Letrical Question

While working around my tank, I stepped on the plug of a WP 40 and broke off the ground. Can I remove this plug and replace it with another sealed plug or am I out of a WP 40? :smurf:

Thanks

I'd cut the end off, go to the hardware store and get a new end to put on. They're cheap and easy to install. After you tighten the screw terminals, wiggle the wire a little bit, and tighten one more time.

That was my plan but I have read in the past that this could not be done as it would make the pump inoperable. I was basing my question on that. Just double checking.

Unless there's something Im not aware of with the device itself, but a 3 conductor power cord is pretty standard. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

A grounded plug is a grounded plug is a.......

Unless you are in Europe or another of those weird places that use another style. Even then, it will be standard for there.

I don't think you even have to cut it do you? Just buy a new cord off amazon. Just search "computer power cord". I think they are like 5 bucks.
