Hey Jason, Obviously I'm not Mike, but when I saw his tank his lights where extremely impressive. My new tank is 36" wide as well, and I've been intrigued by all the sweet T5 tanks around these days, but couldn't imagine a 20" or so fixture outputing sufficient light...boy was I wrong. This thing is bright, super bright. Mikes tank is 26" deep and there are some LPS he was showing me that didn't appreciate that much light on the bottom of the tank! After talking with Mike, I might end up going with a 36"W fixture over my 48"W tank, depending on how much LPS I want to add. You'll have no issues growing SPS on the bottom under a fixture like this.Originally posted by Lowredranger
I noticed it looked a little dark in the FTS back a few pages with all 12 bulbs running and I wanted to see if you thought i would have enough light.
