Lets figure this out...I am mixing new saltwater and there is a floating scum on top!

I have also seen it before and I just scoop it off the top. Doesn't seem to be a problem.

I dont remember exactly when I got the scum.I used red sea salt and Carib Sea Sand.All good names.You mix them you, put them in the tank and debris is everywhere.You are left with a lil scum.It wipes off.Done.Nice clear tank the next day.

I doubt anybody is doing anything wrong. It's likely just an irregular mix from time to time. It sounds more common then I thought.
