you mean pyram snails? Those are easy. give the scutes a once over with a firm toothbrush before it goes on the tank.

ZooZ, I'm using a 150W 14k MH with 36W pc actinics in that tank. It's a 28 gal. NC HQI. I've had good luck with clams under 150W MH in any tank less than 20" deep or so. Deeper than that I'd go at least 250 or 400 for really big tanks.

I am running a 20k 250DE blueline. I dont know how good this bulb is. But my tank is about 20" deep. Ive read that 10K are the best for clams especially crocea since they are found on the shallow reef and the light isnt too blue up there. Dont know how much Par this bulb puts out either. Anyone know anything about it? Cant wait to show my pics when I get them!!!

maroon/ white max. I normally don't but I used my flash for this pic and I think it turned out alot better than the others. Do any of you use the flash?? is this why my pic's are bad?
Although off subject, my 3 crocea's. I have one more maxima but he wasn't being very photogenic tonight
