I'm looking at getting a new skimmer, wanted to see how tunzes do, liek the title says, post some pics!
Lets see some tunze skimmate!

This skimmer was returned as "defective" and this was my test run, the bottom photo was when i set it up at 6:15pm yesterday, the top photo was taken at 7:30am today. The cup is a bit dirty as I just pulled it off my 9010 which was in the sump and rinsed it quickly and installed it for the test as the skimmer was returned without a cup. It also had a lot of fine particulate in the body and the top plate had come unclipped in transport. Other than that the skimmer obviously works normally.

does the 9010 always skim wet or is this adjustable? All the pics ive seen of it have rather wet skimmate.

Pic of mine, a few hrs. after its cleaning. It collects between 100ml -200ml per day on my system.
I do find, like many skimmers I have used, it likes a clean neck for best performance.

What is funny is when someone can't use there regular username to say what they have to say- phenixphish. I have done everything you asked, I sent you a tube of glue because you made it sound minor and this was the fastest way to get your problem resolved. I told you I was willing to get your issue resolved but you were unwilling to give me the chance. I can replace the skimmer body but I need the old one back.

Wow, my 9010 skimmate is much darker than these pics, and the cup will get coated with a nasty green film. It smells like a dead possum in a latrine. I like to think that's why my nitrate is still undetectable.

with the screw out completely, my skimmer is neither collected water nor gurgling. just collecting very minute amounts of skimmate. but i remember you said once to make sure the screw is there because it aids in the self-cleaning when you remove the cup?

Can you tell me more about your tank, maybe provide a photo of the skimmer installed and the aquarium inhabitants? I had a skimmer returned this week that was really a good skimmer (photos above) but the tank was so sparsely populated and new that the expectation was too high. Skimmers can only remove what is present and they work best with a higher specific gravity.
With the screw removed it sometimes draws in water (self cleaning) it depends on the water height, this is more common when used in tank without the stand pipe with the water at or slightly above the water line. Normally the screw does help with the self cleaning as it forces the water to be drawn in from the inside where the air normally comes in through.
