Well, my light finally came in! It's a Reef Optix III 150w with the Blue Wave ballast; I will be running a 10k bulb in it for now with actinics to supplement. I will be deciding here shortly if I should purchase a 14k soon. I'll post pics as soon as I build the hanging system for it!

Here's a shot when the bulb was new. Man was it blue.

And here's after it burned in. I do have a small 19w actinic in the hood, though the hood was removed in this shot.
(As you can see, my two devil's hands are going through their "funk stage" in this shot)

Thanks for the shots Fishinbuc! Yeah, my toadstool goes through a funk stage too sometimes...even still I always seem to worry a bit.
