I really hate you Gene. You and all of your ugly corals with their girly bluish tips.

Sorry for the off topic pic, Marc. :D

I bet there is an acro crab peeking out there somewhere.

I really want my SPS to look like yours again one day. I finally got my PO4 down to something normal (from 3.0 to .1 now) and discovered my test kit was giving me a false nitrate reading for months now. I'm trying to get them down from 75 or worse. Argh. Needless to say, SPS are not happy currently, but once I get that down, maybe I'll be able to rebuild again.

Nope, no acro crabs left after I killed them all with the interceptor.
 And, to make matters worse, the bugs are still there showing me the finger after two treatments. :p

Knowing you, Marc, I am sure you'll bring that tank up to speed in no time flat. I think the NO3 is fairly easy to bring down but PO4 is another matter alltogether and I think you;ve done a great job already on that. Let me ask you, Marc, why the NO3 went this high? I haven't checked mine in about six month or so but I am fairly sure that I won't be able to measure them with the hobby kit. Something is very odd if you got them as high as 75... :(
Sorry for taking your thread off track...

My old kit kept giving me low readings, and I never doubted them. So now that I know the truth, I have to deal with the problem. At least, now I know what the problem is. Before, I did not and was really surprised to see my corals going south when I was expecting them to rebound by now.

I change 55g of water once a month. It looks like I'll have to change 600g in one month if I want to make the difference. I'm making more water as we speak.

Just post another picture and no-one will be the wiser.

Good luck with everything, Marc. Hope we can talk more at the MACNA. :)

Here's another pic, on topic this time. Shot of the acro crab that you eluded to previously( when I still had them  ).
