Ok so I was trying to tske a few pics under my actinics yesterday and snapped an awesome pic of my green moon palys. Anyways I just had to make it my avatar pic and post it here too. I really want to see the pics of everyones softies too so please show of your goods, lol.

Our softy tank has really taken off. Coming up on 1 1/2 years now.

Wow! You tank looks great. How fast does all that xenia grow for you?

The xenia was the first coral in the tank, and it really struggled for several months. Once I moved it to the top of that rock, it improved, spread a little, then went nuts LOL.

April 2011 still just a couple of stalks (we put a couple of stalks in December 2010).

January 1, 2012

February 2012, after we replaced the bulbs in mid-January.

Wow! I have a frag of the pink xenia too and it hasnt grown at all in the last few months. The leds that I have mow kind of suck so maybe thats why itbhasnt done anything. Although I just ordered a new light for my tank that should be in on wednesday so hopefully that will make a big difference. I would really like to get into some sps.

If you really want to get into SPS, I'd hope the xenia wouldn't grow, it will take over. Since this is a softy tank, we want it to take over LOL. I've been placing shells along the edge of the xenia for it to frag itself onto so it won't overgrow the zoas.
