Lets see your clams!!!

Dr Mac has some gorgeous clams as of today. Just placed my order, they are going like pancakes.
we got there and i picked up one, a friend got 3, so the best 4 are no longer.lol.
many beautiful ones left. it was drooling just to see that many amazing clams in one spot.good luck.

Dayumm! Just received my clam from Dr Mac and I was shocked by the size of this clam. It looks a lot bigger than 5 inches. They even gave me an acan frag. Molliken, can you post pics of what you got from Dr Mac? Are these the ones that are very difficult to keep?

my pics are up a few shots on this link. a group plus 2 views of my dr mac.
where's your pics??? i may recognize the one you got!
you ask about difficulty, but the real question is:

what kinda clammie experience do you have?

how old is the tank, kindsa lights, other critters/fish.

I see, you got a very nice one. Not ready for pic, I placed mine high up where my pesky copperband can't reach. I am setting a new tank up and all my clams will go there. I have a 3-4 inch crocea, two 2-inch maximas, a 3-inch teardrop, and this beauty from Dr Mac. The reason I asked if they are hard to keep is that I got one that looks like those that are labeled as Tahitian.

Have they opened up Australia to collecting everything now? Seems like 2 years ago all I ever saw was acans and a few other LPS. Now I'm seeing everything from acros, zoas and clams.

I just get suspicious since last weekend one of our LFS had some nice small maximas for around $80. They then had some which I didn't think were as nice that were $130 to $150 but they labeled them as Maui clams. I didn't inquire about them so I don't know if they were trying to deceive buyers are not. I then went to my favorite LFS and mentioned the clams and was told that "Maui" was the name of the company growing the clams and he had some from that company and his price was $80.
