I don't want to turn the thread into a downer, but these are pics of my dog who died 2 and a half weeks ago

. He was 14 years old and was a Chow Chow mixed with unknown (animal shelter rescue).

The next 2 are HDR. The first is way overdone, but I like the effect.

This is Tasha. She came from a friend of my Dad's who was unable to care for her anymore.

I used Photomatix for HDR. Each was 3 exposures at -2EV, 0EV and +2EV.

Here's an old one of our GSD. I think this photo is like 3 years old now. Need to take some more current ones.

And one of his sister, an Elkhound, GSD, and a bunch of other stuff mix. She HATES the camera. Actually runs away when she sees it.

this is Misfit.. 2 year old Newfie/border Collie/ who knows what mix. I found her in the woods as a pup.

Bounce. 7 year old Rescue. A little psyco... but I love her anyway.
