I'm not sure what that round thing was. I had an algae outbreak a few months ago and that just started growing. It's mostly gone now.

Well, it took a few months before my corals adapted to the the T5 lighting. All new corals immediately took off in growth but it took my older corals longer. Last month the growth has exploded. I am very surprised as to how fast everything is growing.

I can tell you that if the growth with the T5's keeps up it may edge out my old MH's. I really wont be able to tell until the one year mark.

So far, I am really loving the growth and color I am getting with T5.

Thanks, melev. Yeah, the sunset is exploding with growth lately. I'm going to have to frag it here soon. Any tips on how to take some frags from it? I can't remove the piece so I'm really at a loss for what to do. I was thinking about maybe trying to pry some of it up with the edge of a razor but I'm not sure how that will work. If you look closely in the Oct 07 and the following pic, you can see the little nub I started with. Yup you're right about the blue zoas; that's my huge colony of tubs I started from around 12 polyps or so. They've been a great grower and pretty hardy for me. There has to be well over 200 polyps now.
