well i just set my 12 Aquapod, but this is what im planning.

Swimmers
1 Yellowhead Jawfish
1-2 Clowns if i can get away with it (either True or Onyx), is that too much for the bio-load? i will have around 15lbs of LR.

Cleaners
1 - Skunk
2-3 Scarlet Hermits
5 - Nassarius
3 - Astreia

I really want some crabs but i know theyre not the way to go. If they get out of control, i here they make shampoo

The Good Stuff
- Various nice Zoo Colonies (Eagle Eyes, Safecrackers, PPE, if i have the money)
- Rics
- Some xenia
- nice shrooms

Is that too much, what about a small anenome, would that be too much, i never had one, and i hope i have enought lighting now. I have 54watts on a 12 gallon.

Let me know what you guys think.

Jeff

54 watts of what? PC, for an anemone,i dont think PC would be enough. also, three fish is pushing the bioload, unless you are commited to water changes, or invest in a skimmer. how deep is your sandbed going to be? i think a YHJ needs a real deep sandbed?

question for Pico Keeper...you said "Decorator Crab (w/ kenya on his head/back)". my decorator did nothing but harvest the kenya tree coral i added to my 75 gal tank. how do you keep yours from harvesting all the other corals you keep in there with him??

FWIW, that is a sweet looking pico tank!

I actually got the crab before I knew too much about reefs. I found him at the beach under some rocks by a Jettie. He's quite reef-safe as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't bother any of my corals, except the one time he grabbed a bit of kenya, stuck it on his head and its been there for 3 months. It's actually growing on his head!! He's also the funniest thing in my tank, he tries to eat my clown fish and cleaner shrimp, and is the most active thing in my tank except for the clown fish.

2.5g, 18w of pc light, heater, and a HOB filter to hide the heater, with no media. All natural for my reef.

1-ocellaris clown
11 different types of ricordia
