Wow Kimbo.... that's..... um.... A LOT of fish.

You're probably right. My water quality is pristine right now (knock on wood). I'm going to give the Firefish away soon. In general all the fish are no more than 2 inches long, and do not create much waste.

On a different note, it seems as if the amount of live rock I have (20+ pounds), the quality of it (premium Bali), my employment of live sand, and my dosing of Bactervital after every water change keep the water going strong.

10g with a NO light strip:

One ocellaris clown
Four blue-leg hermits
One camel shrimp
One nassarius and two Mexican turbo snails
20 pounds of live rock
No corals

It's a pretty boring tank. I need another fishy, and a new light for it so I can grow some frags.

Too lazy to list it all.

Here is a photo.

My soon to be set up 10g nano will have:

12#LR minimum, 96 watt coralife strip light and a AC110/fuge modded.

1x watchman goby
1x cleaner shrimp
Various snails +1 hermit
Maybe a fire fish added later on.

Various corals: Zoos, torch, gsp and who knows the rest.

I am also starting the hobby with this tank, so i will be taking it slow.
After a full, full cycle i was thinking about adding corals slowly in first and taking it real real slow on the fish.

Any helpfull hints? feal free:)

New stock list

1 Black Ocellaris Clown
1 Bicolor Blenny
1 Randels Pistol Shrimp
2 Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimps
Red Mushroom Rock
Star Polyp colony
2 Zoo colonies

The reason I got two scarlet cleaner shrimps was I didn't know I had one already in the tank. I bought a scarlet cleaner and he went into m overflow. I took out every thing in my overflow and he was gone. So I gave up and 3 weeks later got another one. I open up the hood to find my shrimp in the overflow with the other one in the tank. Any idea on how to get him out?

Cant you just use a net to get them out?
They make those small brine shrimp nets.
Otherwise your hand should work lol.

I try every day with a small net and he is terrified of it. My shrimp goes down into the bottom of the overflow. I can't get him, I have tried food and everything and he will not let me get near him.
