Here is my small colony the bigger it gets the harder it's to frag.

Mine has the same colors as davenackers :fun5:My phone camera works great but photo bucket washes my photos out. I have a 400 XM 20kand have 24 royal blue 24 reef blue leds around my fixture

How many people left it on the black plug and did it turn into a big colony?
I left mine on the plug since it looked like a pia to take off with out damaging it. I've had mine around a year and it's about 4x3". I wonder if it would grow faster off of the plug.
What depth are people keeping theirs at. I'm half way down.

Not likely as don't believe I ever sold Bill any of my ORA Hawkins. I did sell him some frags of my other a.turaki (same species). My other turaki had less blue and grew more bottle brush type branches. I actually prefer ed the growth form of the other one but the colour is better on the hawkins IMO.
If you want to post a picture I could probably verify for sure which one it is.

Busy guy, yes you actually did sell me the Hawkins, the other Bottle Brush/Turaki I bought from you almost a year earlier. The Hawkins took awhile to get to me, but you were kind enough to keep me in the loop and bring me one frag of it. It was the last piece I got from you. We chatted a bit about the proper placement in my system as well. I think you took some Zoas and stuff back with you that same day.
The particular frag Coralwick has here came to me via jroovers.

I actually talked to Jroovers this weekend and he told me he got a couple frags to you. I sent a message to Coralwick this morning saying his Hawkins most likely came from Jordan and sounds like that is that case.

I just got a tiny frag last week. Placed it on the bottom of 24" tank. It's still pale and also maybe some tissue necrosis. Anyone had a frag with it and survive? How long did it take to get better? Also what placement works best? I have a Radion XR30 at 30% peak intensity. Other SPS frags are doing good.
