Lets See Your Sponges

Yeah, I'm being led to believe through numerous sources that it is actually a type of macro algae. First of all it is green and fleshy inside. Second of all my turbo snail made a dinner out of it. And third of all, the more light it gets, the faster it grows.
It is actually being classified currently as a Plaktoris which may or may not be correct I have some one doing research on it further

I will get some more pics soon, it has grown a ton since the last pic.

And I've never heard of Planktoris, what exactly is it? Algae? Sponge? (don't think so) Plankton?

Any updates on how the sponges are doing? I haven't had much success with caring for them, they usually go south on me in a few months.

Well, I went out of town for two weeks on dec 19th and I found out the hard way that the person who took care of my tank, didn't really know how to care for the sponges. The big red tree sponge and the paddle sponge had so much death that I had to trim them way back. The Paddle sponge now looks like a crescent moon and I just had to chop the finger sponge at the stem. I'm going to keep both and see if I can get them to recover but in the mean time will be purchasing new ones to replace them and get the look of my tank back to what it used to be. Instead of a plain finger sponge however, I plan to get an aussi tree sponge with parazoanthus on it.

here is a pic of my favorite sponge,
