Let's see your "ugly" pictures

Cancer Sucks
Everyone always posts thier best pictures, but let's see your "ugly" pics!

Here's one of mine from the beginning of August last year. It looks like it's right during the transition from the "brown phase" to the "green phase".

Here is my first tank and since I am new to this we can all watch me progress with the hobby. Better pictures to come later I promise.

Ghostbear, cool, can't wait to see them!

Hondadude, you're in a unique position of being able to post in a "best pic" and "worst pic" thread, using the same pic!

That may have come off wrong; I was trying to say that that's the worst your tank has ever looked, and the best it's ever looked. :)

I'm looking forward to watching as your tank progresses!

I understood what you meant. I have actually taken out the fake plants and that huge hermit crab. The plastic plants were growing algea and the hermit crab was moving everything around daily.

Does anyone think that a 50/ 50 bulb 10,000k/actinic 03 would be suffecient for the type of coral I mentioned? Keep in mind that this tank will never get very big and exotic. It will be just what it is, a small reef tank.

So we get a perfectly good thread started cause we want to get to know other people and their set-ups and nobody wants to share? We should all come together as a club and share our knowledge and show off our set-ups. This is a family we have here and we need to band together.

I agree. (however, this is the "ugly tank" thread. people should show thier setups and introduce themselves in the "New Forum" thread) :) :)

Is nobody else willing to show a picture of when thier tank looked the "worst"? I think it's just as important as "best" pictures.

My poor little bubble coral! I managed to save him with a couple of water changes, but it will be along time before he's back to his original size.
