Leveling 105 gal

Setting up my new DSA 105. Apparently my floor is lower against the wall than where the front of the tank sits. I shimmed both sides and got it level but now im stuck. Im scared to leave the back slightly off the floor but have no way to shim it. There isnt enough room. Any suggestions. I could pull all the shims out and leave it slightly unleveled but im not sure if it will hurt the tank. Its rimless but was the trim around the bottom.

Since so many have looked at this thread but no answers, I will give it a shot.
Whatever you have to do to get to the back of the stand to level it, do it. Minor inconvenience now compared to the big inconvenience that may or may not happen. I think you would have more peace of mind knowing that the back glass is not under more pressure than the other panes.

I had to do the same thing myself & I'm glad I did it, just one thing less on the worry list.

I did. Its not perfect but its the best I can do for now. The tank will be there for no more than a year. Then it will be moved to our new home if all goes according to plan.

Did you shim the stand or the tank? I'm hoping the stand, as you should never shim the tank.

You are better off unlevelled than potetially having a bow through the centre. Tanks can handle 1/4 inch, especially front to back. Having the back lower is actually better because of the potential for tipping forward if it was the other way.

Just fill in 2 inches of water so can see how bad it is.

No, no, gotta get the stand level and flat. Just measure the height of the shims required in each rear corner and place a shim of similar height along the rear middle, place the stand on top of it and then re shim one of the rear corners and then see if the stand is stable. If it rocks at all it means the rear center shim is either slightly too thick or too thin. Adjust and retry. Once the stand does not rock, shim final rear corner and check for level. May require some trial and error but quite doable.

Well i put the tank on the stand then leveled the stand. I put as many shims on the back as possible. So far so good and its been filled for about a 4 days now. Thanks for the help.
