Leviathan's First Kill!

Finally I captured one of my large spearers taking a live fish once again I was stunned by Leviathans speed and precision hoping to god that I got a 'decent' view of him in the camera :hmm2: well I did my best and will continue to do so in the future :lol2:

What kind of Fish was that? lol looked like a blue eyed cardinal. Good video thanx for that post.
Question for you I have read a few articles mostly from the Doc about the mantis having a strong sense of smell and this allows for issues with them being kept in the same systems. Although they would be isolated and not allowed to come in contact with one another the constant knowledge of the presence of another mantis or in the case of your big mantis motel the presence of multiple mantis may cos problems or stress to some of your inhabitants. How will you combat this possible issue?

The fish is a cardinal I think its a redline/goldline cardinal my LFS does a great deal on them for me =)

I am not really worried about this issue =) for the past few months I have kept mantis next to each other in containers, they don't always try and attack each other but they do certainly have a go at random, I have seen no ill effects and always give them a place of safe refuge like a PVC pipe.

As for Morgoth and Leviathan I am positive that they have noticed each other but they just haven't shown or done anything to one another yet even though there well and truly separated.
