Lf 1000 watt or larger heater locally

Looking for 1000watt heater or larger locally, new or used i dont care. Alls i can find is 300watt and smaller.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't want to run multiple smaller heaters.

Heaters are prone to fail (either stuck off or on), and I would think that if a large heater like that failed, it wouldn't be pretty.

I believe I saw 800w finnex tubes at Caribbean Forest. I grabbed a single 500w and it heated my 90g + 30g basement sump pretty well all winter.

I don't want to even imagine what your electric bill looks like if you need > 1500 watts in heaters!

Yes and no, i have thin plywood on ground and then the tank, great point this is prolly the issue. im glad i posted. im going to raise the tank up alittle higher. thanks gary.

Hey- if you can get some insulation underneath the tank(s) it will help A LOT. They have Styro stuff at Home Dept/Lowes
