Home Depot cut my Tree too long at the truck so I need to cut about 3-4 inches.

Anyone have a chain saw for a quick cut?

Thanks!

Do u have any tool? Recip saw, circular saw, hand saw? Or is it a big @$$ tree and a chainsaw is reqd?

Unfortunately some fool stole all the tools out of my garage 3 week ago. They took probably about 4-5 hundred dollars worth of tools :(

I feel pretty useless with out my tools since I do alot of projects on my free time.

I still have circular saw and I think its almost as old as me (26) hahah! But I feel like the wet/live wood would cause some issues? What do you think? If I mess up this tree my mom will kill me hahah. The truck is about 7 inches in diameter.

Thanks for the response!

I wouldn't try it with the circular saw. Its better to be safe than sorry. A reciprocating saw would be a good choice.

Just take it back and have them recut it. Won't be a prob. Gonna be the easiest way. I personally would try with the circ saw, I would make cuts all around the trunk instead of trying to do it in one deep cut. Brush off the blade often. Hold the guard back and go little by little. Get a feel for the blade and the wood.

i think this would (wood lol) work

Hahah! jokes!

I actually got it done today! My dad found his reciprocating saw and we cut it easily.

Thanks fellas!
