nope.. 1 wxm will controller all your ecotech pumps and lights except the vectras.. only time you need more than 1 is if you have another apex controller for a different tank

+1 the WXM doesn't replace your mp control box. You still need those. The WXM contains the interface the control boxes use to communicate with Apex.

Ya I figured that all out. Getting it on line wirelessly was fun but all works perfectly
