LF Carpet Anemone

Rhett has 2 big Carpet red one and a blue one FS. One 12" dia and ather is 24"dia.Got to get a hold of him for $$$.

I got 2 maxi carpet I picked up for $75 a year ago. Now I see them on here saleing forover $180 each. Crazy how livestock and drygood get priced in this hobby.
 
If I were you I would wait. You just set your tank up a few months ago if I remember correctly. Carpets are some of the most sensitive nems available.

Zef- The maxi trend is crazy right now. Mostly they come as hitchhikers to big california stores. People pick them up for 10 or 15 bucks and then sell them for hundreds. It is an absurd and despicable practice. I know where to get them for 20 bucks each on another site.

not maxi minis. They split after they get to half dollar size. Still very pretty and they seem hardy enough for an anemone.
 
Thanks guys. They are easy to take care of. I stopped feeding them to slow their growth. I used to feed mysis or similar about once a week. They're living in a 22g under a 250w MH and I also had them living in a 90g under x 250w MH.

I still have several for sale or trade for whatever if anyone would like some.
 
How do you acclimate them and get them placed? Are you selling them attached already to rocks? I think I wouldn't mind taking one or two of the green and purples after I sell my chiller
 
I acclimated them like a coral...floated them to adjust temp and then added aliquots of tank water. I usually ship them loose, but I do have some on smaller pieces of rock right now. I could ship ground which would arrive overnight or I plan on heading to Gatlinburg on in early October. I could possibly meet near I40 on my way through
 
well let me wait and see cause I leave my house tonight for work and won't be back till saturday afternoon. how much each plus shipping. I think I would like two. How large are they?
 
i have a bunch of those in my tank. They are great little nems. they split really fast. so get ready for a take over. lol.
