LF - cheato

I know where u can get some free, but prolly too much a drive. I'm a firm believer in never "selling" cheato. I guarantee anyone selling it is also "throwing it in the trash" if it does not sell. Never buy it.....You have to cut it back too make it work if the refugium is full.
People that sell cheato are just greedy, period, no ifs, ands, or buts. LFS need to carry for new fish peeps. They should give it away also.
Capitalism at its finest.....in a hobby that should exist for marine "i forgot the word" =).

man RC is slow today...but i was wondering how much benefit do you guys feel you get from having chaeto....i actually have never had enough room in my sump to run some type of refugium...im about 3 months into my new tanks set up and am having some algae probs...i guess its to be expected but im really kind of excited to add the macro to my arsenal in fighting nitrites and traites...

I like how capitalism came up there as the boogey man.. It's called the simple law of supply and demand. You don't like that people sell it, start giving it away for free.
There's a LFS that sells Pulsating Xenia for around $50\stalk. I had it crawling out of my rear in my old fuge so I would give it away multiple times a week. Be a part of the solution.
I just got some chaeto from a fellow local reefer, and plan on distributing it when my clump gets big enough.
