MAP can not tell a vendor what they can sell an item for. It simply states what they are allowed to ADVERTISE at. MAP is Minimum Advertised Price.

A lot of vendors will sell you MAP items at a lower price if you have a good relationship with them.

Well yes, but that would still be the vendor risking their agreement with those companies.

I'm not saying not to do it, by all means if you can get a deal get a deal! We've all done it. I was just putting the facts out there so people know that if they do get a deal not to go blabbing about it...
