IMO the tlf reactor is better. i have/had both and gave away my brs reactors, and i would go with a BRS ro/di.

Is there anything I have to do to the water if I use ro di, or is it just add salt and go? What one has the least waist water

pretty much, add salt and heat since its cold now. you should also get a dual tds meter to monitor the membrane and di for exhaustion.

Most all are the same on the waste water ratio of 3 or 4:1, unless you spend alot more money to get a high efficiency unit that will do nearly 1:1. Last I checked, those were about $1,000.
