Lf harlequin shrimp FINALLY!

Wow in my tank for 5 mins and already picking up the asterinas! Love it!!

@david, once he eats all my asterinas, guess I'll do what everyone else does and buy him choco stars :)
 
They do better in pairs than alone. It's in your shrimp's best interest to be on the lookout for a mate.
2 males will fight though, so knowing what you have, and what you're buying is important.
 
You need to be feeding it real stars BEFORE it decimates the asterinas. asterinas provide so little nutrition that you could starve it to death and still have thousands in a 55g tank.

they will ALWAYS snack on them, even with regular feeds. PLEASE DO NOT KILL SUCH AWESOME SHRIMP. They are kung foo masters with those claws!

Ya, I was planning on getting another when one comes available at a reasonable price. :) don't want him to be lonely.

about that, thanks. I will see if I can find a choco today.

I will do my best not to kill him, I do enjoy watching him!
