LF: lights, filters, heaters for a teacher

Hi guys my wife is the 8th grade science teacher in Skokie and is looking to setup a fresh water tank at school for the kids. I have a couple of things to give her but not everything so if anybody has anything for cheap or especially for free that would be great!

Lf: cheap or free lights,filters,heaters,pump etc.....for fresh water

Also does anybody know of any fresh water resources like reefcentral for fresh water thanks!

It's cool that your wife wants to introduce her class to the fish world! Haha I maintain the aquariums at my school as well so I know what it's like getting funding and money and all that.

Also, a freshwater site that you could use might be plantedtank.net. It is indeed like a freshwater reef central. Try it out!
