Even if only one child walks away with an interest in the oceans, it was worth it.
Who knows, your efforts may inspire the next great oceanographer, maybe an Adam Derickson, or..... the future VP of SLASH!!
What else does she need for the tank at this point?
Wish list:
1. maybe an auto feeder
2. 1/4 inch bulkhead for r/o tubing
3. Small (6" or less) fan that can be plugged in. The 8" one I bought is too big to fit inside the stand.
4. I would say test kits but, I think I would prefer to buy them new for her.
5. good aquascaping rocks
6. more reef picture books or coral books. Even if they are geared for more advanced readers. Mrs. Douglas can read them and use them to answer questions the kids may have. :reading:
I've got a fan you can have, never been used

you wouldn't happen to be going to Nick's PN this Thursday would you?
I didn't think of a fan until she told me today that the fan I bought was too big. I thought I had it covered. That looks long but thin. That seems like it would work really well in the hood or above the sump depending on where she wants to put it.Dude.
You didn't mention a fan.
Would this be too big?
14"long![]()

I have to run tryouts for grade school volleyball Thursday until 5:15. I think Brian has it covered anyway. Thanks again for the tank though. Can't, I'm driving down to Poplar Bluff that evening. I'll be in the office all day Thursday though, I could meet you somewhere if you're available.
