Hi JonnyU, Just joined FMAs and trying to get more involved. I have a brand new (used once) 44 Gallon Brute you can borrow. I am sure each of us has one or two. My experience is that with rock and water loss from sand removal (i would not reuse the sand) you end up with 2/3 the water. So you are looking at around 300 gallons or less. Then you have to mix or buy SW to top-off. I would have at least 15%-20% new water on-hand to top off depending on how much rock you put back in the tank.... Kind of like a first water-change. Bubble your fish and watch for temperature and salinity changes in the water before moving them from one body of water to another. Dude a 380 gallon tank will weigh a ton (literally). water alone 300 x 8 = 2,400 lbs YOu will need some beer and pizza money on-hand and lots of strong backs. I also have a small submersible pump that connects to a gardenhose that always comes in handy. It would empty that tank real fast. Yours to borrow if you need it. Just a thought. I am in Parkland /Coral Springs area if i can help. Cheers Matthew
