Hey guys,

Well I got a call from my dad this morning telling me that the return pump our 75gal was broken. I'm at school in iowa so I have no idea what happened but he said when he woke up, he was going to top off the water and when he opened the sump, the water level was way high because all the water drained into the sump. He look at the return pump side and no water was going up the tube. He then unplugged the return pump and then took it out of the water and he said it was hot... He let it cool down and tried it again and it was no good.

Well looks like the return pump was on it's way out to begin with when I bought the setup. This probably explains my inconsistent water level in my sump.

Anyway, looking for a return pump for my tank. I'm hoping i can get one that has a 1/2" threaded outlet cuz thats what the old pump was and that would make it easier not to have to redo some of the plumbing. My return side is a 1" plumbing and it's about 4 feet of piping. So looking for something at least 900 gph.

lmk what you have please. I need it asap cuz right now all tank has is powerheads keeping the water flowing. Need it back flowing into the sump for filtration.

Needs to be around the nw suburbs, I'm in hoffman estates.

Thanks
Eric
