Hello All,

I am taking a day trip to SF Thursday from Sacramento. I wanted to check out a few LFS while I am in the city.

Any recommendations (Please include address and phone number if possable)?

Thanks,

John

Try ocean treasures on duboce ave.. Just google them.. I don't have their exact address..

Aquatic Central on Ocean Avenue in SF..

Ocean Aquarium on Balboa has some good stuff once in awhile as well...
If you are coming from Sac you should be passing pretty close to New Alameda Aquatics as well...They have a website also just google them...

If you are into small freshwater community fish check out Justin ha's place over at 120 cedar right between van ness and polk...

Ocean Treasure is @ 49 Duboce (closest cross street is Valencia). Went there yesterday and the place is nice !

Lucky Ocean is on 2nd & Balboa.

New Alameda Aquatics is usually closed during the day and open from 6-8p.

there is also Fish Fish and More Fish also in SF... they only deal with Salt Water... prices as some would say would be on the high end but the fish I got from there were always healthy and ate a lot...

Ocean Treasures is good. parking suxs
Lucky Ocean is good to . parking suxs

Just DONT bother with 6th ave.. what ever you do....

i'd say go see Steve at Lucky Ocean (Balboa @ 2nd) and Chris at Aquatic Central (Ocean Ave @ Ashton). those are the best marine stores in SF right now

Lot depends on what you are looking for. Truthfully nothing in the city yet compares to the East Bay stores and parking sucks at any store in the city.

Can't speak to Aquatic central as I have yet to go there but if you are looking for more then just fish or common LPS or are looking for one stop shopping (i.e. SPS, fish etc) your best bet is Ocean's Treasures on Dubose.

I have always had good luck with healthy fish from Steve at Lucky Ocean but can't say the same about 6th avenue and Fish Fish and more Fish from my experience. Pretty much a majority of their stock is fish.
