LFS near Riverside, CA

I'm looking to find a few other LFS that are around the Riverside, CA area. I've already been to the Mystic Reef, been to a place called Global Aquatics, and some little shop called Treasures of the Sea.

Anyone got any suggestions?

For the record, I'm not recommending any shops.
Beside what you mentioned,
There is Salties near Tyler mall... Healthy fish, but overpriced and Very little selection.
And There is Pet World in San Bernadino... But i don't really trust their livestock...
And that appears to be AIM's Address.

Yes thats the correct address

Kim at Salties is a great guy in my experiences, overpriced but will negotiate. Extremely healthy fish, you get what you pay for as far as livestock goes in my opinion.

I would have to agree with jbrown that jason at aquarium in motion has nice little store .Hes got a nice selection of zoos and lps and hes a cool guy to just chit chat with about reefing. Adam and Jeremy at Mystic reef have great selection if you can get them to let you go in the back where all the good stuff is at!Im out here in perris and those are the only good places to go with friendly customer service and good selection

Both of them there have been great to me since the first trip I made there. I'm always in the back room now ;).

For fish only, go to Fish Fantasy off of Arlington and Van Buren. They have a fairly healthy stock of fishes at fair prices. For warn, their middle tanks use/or use to use copper.

No spectacular or rare fishes though.

Love Mystic Reef, 6101 Camino Real, and their backroom. And they always get me with their $5 frags.

Fish Fantasy is good, 7201 Arlington Avenue, they actually had the bulkhead fittings i needed, but mostly just fish.

Treasures of the Sea, 2955 Van Buren, nice varied selection.

Salties, 10555 Indiana #102,

Elliotts for pets just moved but they haven't built their new tanks yet.
And Coral Sea went outa business.

There's also suppose to be a Treasured Pets in Moreno Valley but I've never been there.

I didn't know about aquariums in motion in corona, I'll be visiting them soon.

Check out the Aquarium Store Finder

Unfortunately, Treasured Pets is no longer in business. It was a great shop but had to close its doors last month. :(

Dang, another one down,

if your ever out in redlands, check out Dayrl's pet shop. lotsa stuff.
(I remember daryl, I wonder what happen to him?)

I thought treasures of the sea was way overpriced, nice fish selection, but the tanks always looked dirty and hardly any cool corals and not very helpful. Salties... nice clean tanks, and good fish selection, no corals! purchased 3 fish from them that have not lived more than a week (and expensive imo) I have gotten other fish from other stores and people and they have been thriving. Aquariom in motion corona would be by far my favorite, mystic reef was sorta far from my house, but Jason at AIM is always willing to be as helpful as possible, he even help me customize and set up my tank. Great guy! cuts nice deals when he can, and the selection is decent... even better than his riverside location. I would love to see a $10-20 frag tank there... hint hint:)
In fact all of the stores IMO should have a frag tank with prices clearly marked, there hasnt been a store Ive been to, even when I didnt find what i was looking for that I did not $40 myself on frags before I left.
mystic reef had a handle on that like tongs did, and I gladly spent money there, adnd it felt like christmas for less then 50 bucks!

I dont know if its just me, but i hate asking the price of of 5 different corals.... I guess if I have to ask I cant afford it:) Id rather know up front

Thanks for the info! I love checking out new shops. I go to school in Long Beach, so I've been to a lot of LFS in that area, but I live in Lake Elsinore when schools out and didn't know of any in this area.

I recently visited Aquariums in Motion in Corona, right off the 15 at ontario.
they had a great selection and even better prices, I will be going back there again soon.
(he was the only store that had CUC's)

Go see Jason at Aquarium In Motion. They are on Ontario Ave. in Corona.

Is this the fish store that moved from Magnolia and Pierce?

Yes it's the same guys.

Ocean Pro Aquatics is no longer at the chino location. He is looking for a new location in either Chino or Ontario. His other locations which I am not aware of are still open. They have an online store as well.

Have to second the recommendation for Mystic Reef. I was just in there yesterday for the first time and Jeremy was great. I have a nano, so I was all over the frags. Great prices on everything and Jeremy even hooked me up with a free favia piece just for being patient while he helped out some difficult customers. He let my kids and I in the back for a minute to see the shallow tank, which was very cool. The shop is a long way from home (45 mins), but I'll definitely be going back for more of those frags to fill out my tank.
