In addition to the Aquariums, I also visited a few LFS while in Atlanta. I just did a Google Search and used MapQuest for directions. I took pictures in 2 of the stores, had one more I wanted to visit, but things got alittle hectic with work.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of each store. If you are in Atlanta, make sure you stop by and check them out......

Store #1 - "The Fish Store & More"

This store was extremely clean and had some awesome displays. 1 large hexagon shaped tank and a saltwater pond. Was awesome to look down into the pond and see the large fish. Pictures do no do this display justice......

They actually have a couch to sit and watch this tank....

The employee said this was about a 1600 gal system

They even had a Discus area, which I have only seen a Beldt's.

This was a great store, very friendly employees. One gentle,am working there is raising Peppermint Shrimp and has even had some articles published. I had his name on a card, but it got lost on the trip back home.

Will show the second store on Part 3 of this post....

Store #2 - "Marine Fish and Reef Store"

This was a nice size store and extremely clean. Had a fulltime employee whose only duties was to clean tanks. They also have a tank maintanence business with 5 people out doing work. They set-up most tanks that they sell. Very nice people....

This is their store mascot. His name is KONG. he is alittle under 2 feet right now. He needs to grow to 4 feet before he can be moved to the Georgia Aquarium.

So, if you find yourself heading to Atlanta, make sure you see the Georgia Aquarium, the Tennessee Aquarium, and as many LFS as you can. Well worth the visit!
