LFS with good dry goods selection West LA

Any LFS that stocks plastic fasteners? Need two sets of plastic bolts and wing nuts for my overflow. Maybe a hardware store even. I'm near West LA.

Got a used set up that I am going to upgrade and DIY in the next few months, so definately appreciate any recommendations or advice.

Thanks,
Tony

I'm not sure about LFS that carry that, I would say reefhotspot, but I don't remember seeing anything like what you're describing last time i was there.

B&B Hardware on Washington Blvd by Centinela is a pretty good hardware store though.

yeah, that's a hardware store request, not a LFS request. But at any rate there's no such thing as a LFS with good drygoods on the westside currently. I usually order from reefgeek and pickup.

Thanks for the help guys. Just checked out reefhotspot and medusa today. Like moonpod said, not much of a drygood selection. I'll try the hardware stores. Hopefully I'll have my 40 cube ready soon to transfer this stuff over. Man hangon overflows are noisy.

Man I'm excited to be playing with reef tanks again.

Medusa (on Pico just east of Bundy, north side of street) is OK. They have some stuff, ok prices.

The aquarium place on 10th and Wilshire in Santa Monica has a larger selection, but lack many items and brands. It's a bit overpriced, too.

Apex in Culver City (Sepulveda at Culver) has a good amount of stuff, but not the best stuff, nor the best prices.

Jim's in El Segundo (on Sepulveda, south of the Airport about a mile) has an ok selection, again high prices. Better selection than the others.

Pasadena Tropical Fish on Colorado in Pasadena (not westside, I know) has a huge drygoods selection and fair prices. They have most common items and many not-so-common ones. I don't always appreciate their livestock though.

Sweet, Bromion. Thanks for the rec's. Been to Apex and have to agree.

Any places for drilling glass? Doing the research now for getting my 40 cube set up to transfer all my new used livestock. I'll probably drill myself, but in case I chicken out in the end...
