I was offended by that and have never been back. The store did have nice looking fish tanks and coral as well. It’s to bad that the guy was so rude because I wanted to be a customer. Should I have to ask someone to take my money from me?

IMO and its just that, who really cares if someone doesnt jump to you and say hi, maybe he/she is on a important order or something, what if it was an order for you, and lets say someone walked in and he went to jump at them to say hi and when he returned he forgot to push a button and poof there goes your order, I bet than you would care about that!!!!. I understand alittle that you want to be welcomed, but the 1st time you go somewheres and that happens and never go back, Maybe he was just having a bad day, were all entitled to at least one. maybe even two!!!!!

I am not asking him to come shake my hand and give me a cookie. I am just saying when you walk 4 feet away from some one and they never take their eyes off the screen to say "hey" that send a single that says to me they do care if I come or go. And maybe they don’t, I got no problem with that its his business he can run it like he want. But don't give me the Line about being to busy to say hi. I understand what your saying oceana, some time the truth does hurt. Pass the tissues

Rude? Nope. I just let you do your own thing. If you don't like it then don't shop at my store.

I was just in Tampa on business and visited Ichty Things. I had no problem with how John does things. He was more than helpful when I found what I liked and asked him questions. They also did a great job packing my corals to make the trip back to VA. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to visit any other LFS that were suggested in some of the other threads.

I have been growing corals for a few years now and I am just about ready to open up the store. I do no want to rush things so I wont.
