Lieutenant tang changing colors

I've had this tang for a little over 3 weeks. He's gone through ttm and prazi as well as a formalin bath in the very beginning. For about 3 weeks he acted very skittish whenever he saw me, and I rarely ever seen him change colors. However today I come home from work and I see him hovering in the corner and his appearance went very dark. I then panicked and took him out immediately as well as his tankmate (algae blenny) and put them in a new tank/new water.

So far he's been changing colors from light to dark every 10-30 seconds. Is this normal? I swear he's trying to stress me out on purpose.

Here is the video of him.

I should also add that there is a pimple like thing on his lip. I'm not sure what it is but I noticed it a few days ago. If anyone has an idea what it could be please let me know. Thanks!

I think he looks fine, maybe he's seeing his reflection and getting mad my vlminga tang dose this some time. Is he eating still? If worried about him getting ick I would put a cleaner shrimp or wrasse in the tank. Or you could lower the salinity and put some copper in the qt tank

I don't think he has ich. As he's never been in the same tank for more than 3 days. I've been doing ttm for about 2 1/2 weeks (kinda extreme) but I recently had a second ich infection in another tank after 15 days. It did seem like he had flukes as he would twitch his head and flash against the inside of a pcv elbow. I've been dosing prazi in hopes to get rid of the flukes. However I'm not sure what that white pimple thing is on his lip.

Thanks for letting me know that it's normal, I just kind of freaked when I saw him doing it so frequently.

Ya I watched the video and he seemed fine to me I would put him in a stable qt tank and let's him go for little switch tanks that much will also stress him out, might be doing more harm than good. I have my qt tank at .20 and copper, having it at .20 makes it alot easier on the fish to go back to normal salinity
