Life Expendency of XM Bulbs

We should have data to post monday on all the bulbs, we just did 400watt, but will give you an idea to compare the brands for intensity.

We do have CoralVue bulbs instock, just limited numbers, but i have a huge order shipping out to us this week, hopefully have by friday.

Some light output data

I just received a Coralvue 20k 250w DE bulb today and put it in my Aquaspacelight next to a 3-1/2 month old XM.

Here's a picture. The XM is more pink and isn't quite as bright as the Coralvue. Keep in mind the Coralvue is not burned in yet.

FWIW, the XM bulb took weeks to burn in and is now much less blue than in the beginning.

No supplemental lights were on when I took this picture. Please forgive my dirty tank front. I just wanted to snap a quick picture.

Radium 20K will only keep a few acros from turning brown.

That is simply not true in my experience.

After coral accimatation, just the opposite has been my experience
